A-Z Driver - Tim Hortons - Guelph Distribution Centre

Reporting to the Fleet Supervisors, this position is responsible for performing truck driving duties as required, including: store deliveries, operating a power drivers lift/pump truck, and acting as a customer service representative to store owners, vendors, as well as general public.

Qualifications:
•    Experienced A-Z driver with excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
•    High level interpersonal and relationship building skills
•    Excellent communication skills, to deal with requests and concerns from owners and the Driver team
•    Literacy – ability to read related reports and understand product quantities.
•    Demonstrates our Values; Team-oriented, shows initiative, and is extremely customer-focused

Essential Skills/Requirements:
•    CVOR and a Clean Driver’s Abstract * To be provided at the time of application
•    Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
•    Correctible vision
•    Ability and willingness to work in marked temperature changes

Key Responsibilities:
•    Consistently operates Company equipment in a safe and professional manner at all times.
•    Performs Pre/Post- trip inspections to ensure TDL fleet standards are met.
•    Completes all appropriate regulatory and Company documentation and promptly provides to Fleet Supervisor.
•    Safely operates on-board truck computers.
•    At store level, verifies accuracy of food order, and assists with off-loading of product into the store.
•    Handles inquires and or concerns from owners/customers professionally and re-directs where possible.
•    Responsible for yard duties when assigned to Driver Warehouse duties.

Inside Sales and Marketing Professional

What we offer:

  • 1-year contract position, 3-month probation period (potential for a longer-term contract)
  • Two days per week - Tuesday and Thursday - 9am to 5pm in Milton office.  (can be flexible depending on circumstances) Possibility of full time down the road.
  • Hourly rate of $20.00 per hour to start
  • Reports to the President

 Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow non-member contact database
  • Send event emails to non-member contact database
  • Maintain and follow-up on receivables
  • Prepare marketing packages for off-site events
  • Answer phone
  • Assist with other office tasks as required
  • Flexibility to attend off-site events as needed (this may fall outside of normal Tuesday/Thursday rotation and may on occasion require overnight stay)
  • Help with design of ads and marketing campaigns
  • New member recruitment (follow up on all leads)
  • Follow up on membership opportunities by researching the company, identifying potential contacts; building rapport; providing company information and explanations; forwarding pricing
  • Record sales activities and new members/sponsors when answering telephone, fax, and e-mail inquiries; verifying and entering information into the database

THE ROLE:
Reporting directly to Market Manager and collaborating regularly with the Delivery Coordinator, the Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of product to our customers. The Driver will deliver, load and unload propane into the bulk truck and end use containers while providing exceptional customer service. The Driver will also be accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.

Propane Delivery Driver – Delta, BC

DUTIES:
Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
•    Safe operation of Company equipment;
•    Timely delivery of cylinders supplies to a variety of customer locations;
•    Safe and efficient delivery and setting of customer tanks;
•    Excellent customer service and communication;
•    Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•    Current Class 3 Driver’s License (at minimum) with clean Abstract, and Air Brake Ticket.
•    2 to 4 years safe work experience in a propane and/or related industry.
•    Good customer service skills.
•    Excellent physical condition for required heavy lifting.

This is a temporary position expected to start in July/August and run for approximately 6 months.
